Programs and Services
Pronto of Long Island provides food to families in the community in need. The majority of the food is provided by donations from the private sector, food drives and community partners.
Pronto of Long Island's Thrift Shop offers community members and their families the opportunity to shop for donated gently used clothing, shoes and bedding. The Thrift Center is open during regular business hours .
Our Warehouse offers gently used Furniture and Household Items. Pronto of Long Island's Warehouse is open during regular business hours. We are constantly receiving and picking up new items so our warehouse is always filled with great finds.
If you have something that you would like to donate, you may schedule a pickup Monday through Thursday between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm. Our current pickup areas are Bay Shore, Brentwood, Central Islip, Islip, East Islip, West Islip and Islip Terrace. Furniture donations require donors to email pictures of the items to: firstname.lastname@example.org.Please do not drop off any furniture without receiving an authorization number.
If you would like to donate household items, you may drop off your items during regular business hours. We only accept gently used items so please make sure there are no rips, no tears, no stains, or broken parts. We also request that Furniture pictures be submitted for approval. Please email your photo to email@example.com and be sure to include your name, address of pickup, phone number and if there is a deadline for pickup. We will get back to you within 72 hours.

Shots for Tots
Pronto of Long Island offers an immunization program called Shots for Tots the first and second Wednesdays of each month from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm. There is a non-refundable $5 Administrative Fee for each child/student receiving an immunization. There is no charge for the immunizations. This program is provided for those who do not have health insurance coverage only and children up to 18 years old. Children are seen on a first come first serve basis.
We offer 3 shifts of immunizations, each accommodating 22 children. If you arrive by 8:30 am you will more likely be in the first group of people to be seen by 12:30 pm. If you arrive around 11:30 am you will be signed in for the second group of 22 people to be seen from 12:00 pm/12:30 pm to around 2:30 pm. If you arrive by 2:00 pm, you will be signed in for the third group of 22 people to be seen from 2:30 pm until the last person is seen. Please bring your child's shot records and if you have any further questions you may call the Dept. of Health at 631-854-0222 for the forms needed to process your child's immunization and any questions you may have.

3. Green Homes - Energy Audits & renovations funded by the State, if you qualify - please call for exact dates of service
4. Immigration Services - First & Third Wednesdays of the month - $30 Service charge
5. National Recruiting Group - Job Recruiting - Every other Tuesday of the month - Please call for exact dates of service
6. Senior Services programs a. FAN - Third Monday of each month (please call to confirm) .
7.Medicare Insurance - Every Tuesday of the month except holidays
8. United Healthcare - Insurance Provider - Monday to Saturday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm and much more...
